How to reach us?
Kolochava is a picturesque mountain village in the Tereblya Valley. Minibuses do not run here often, and the nearest railway station is Volovets. But we are doing everything we can to make it easier for you to get to the ECO FILM FESTIVAL by CHYSTO.DE! So choose your mode of transportation, register, and see you there!
Our shuttle (limited seats available! Advance registration required!)
Buses from Lviv, Uzhhorod, and Mukachevo will depart on Friday and return on Sunday after the festival ends. The coordinator will provide you with the exact schedule after registration.
There will also be a bus running from the Volovets train station to Kolochava.
By car
From Kyiv and Lviv:
Lviv – Stryi – Dolyna – Vyshkovsky Pass – Torunsky Pass – Mizhhiria – Synevyr Pass – Kolochava – 215 km
or
Lviv – Stryi – Skole – Veretsky Pass – Nyzhni Vorota – Volovets – Mizhhiria – Synevyr Pass – Kolochava – 255 km
From Uzhhorod, Mukachevo:
Uzhhorod – Mukachevo – Svalyava – Volovets – Mizhhiria – Kolochava – 176 km
or
Uzhhorod – Mukachevo – Zarichchia – Khust – Nyzhniy Bystry – Mizhhirya – Kolochava – 195 km
By public transport
In Kolochava itself, the train and tracks remain only in the Kolochava Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum. The nearest railway station is Volovets. You can get there from any other railway station, including Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa. It is best to monitor tickets in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app, as well as here: https://booking-new.uz.gov.ua/
For some destinations, tickets become available two weeks in advance. To get your bearings, check out tickets for the upcoming weekend, then make a note in your calendar so you can buy your ticket on time when they go on sale!

There is also a daily route from Uzhhorod to Kolochava, which goes through Volovets.
The cost of Uzhhorod-Kolochava is 350 UAH, Volovets-Kolochava is 150 UAH.
Approximate schedule: Uzhhorod (12:00) – Volovets (14:00) – Kolochava (15:30).
